Estudio [pm] is the creative collaboration of Paula Stoddard Sotomayor and Michael Ortiz Jiménez. Rooted in Puerto Rico and now based in New York City, the studio operates at the intersection of spatial design, material research, and storytelling, between process and matter.

With backgrounds in architecture, we are interested in how materials shape space and experience. Our work moves between design, experimentation, and making, exploring new ways of working through hands on processes and careful investigation.

Each project is approached as an open exploration, testing ideas, pushing materials in new directions, and uncovering unexpected outcomes.
