BALAUSTRADA BEADS_ESTUDIO [PM]_edited.jpg

Balaustrada

Balaustrada is a collection of sculptural side tables and stackable forms made from crushed reclaimed textiles. Inspired by the rhythmic silhouettes of traditional balusters and architectural fragments, the collection distills these references into simplified bead-like forms defined by balance, repetition, and material presence.

More minimal in language and form, Balaustrada explores texture, proportion, and composition through a quieter architectural approach. Variations in color and surface emerge from the unpredictable nature of reclaimed textiles, making each piece inherently unique while remaining part of a larger visual system.

Designed to stand alone or be arranged together, the collection moves between furniture, sculpture, and architectural gesture.

Balaustre 01

dimensions: ≈

13" Ø × 15" H

Balaustre 01 exaggerates the stacked rhythm of architectural spindle elements into a monolithic side table defined by repetition, balance, and material presence.

Balaustre 02

dimensions: ≈

11" Ø × 15" H

Balaustre 02 explores the softened geometry of traditional baluster forms through a compact sculptural volume shaped by proportion and surface texture.

Balaustre 03

dimensions: ≈

13¾" Ø × 15" H

Balaustre 03 distills ornamental architectural language into a simplified conical silhouette where form and material become the primary expression.

Balaustre 04

dimensions: ≈

13" L x 13 W × 15" H

Balaustre 04 interprets the foundational geometry of the cube through softened edges and grounded proportions inspired by architectural base forms.

Balaustre 05

dimensions: ≈

11¾" Ø × 15" H

Balaustre 05 expresses an inflated cylindrical form reminiscent of the repetitive volumes often found within traditional baluster profiles.
